Ip Help.
Hey, when I put in a new ip on my Minecraft server list and try and join the server it doesn't work. It does it for all servers I try and join.
It says
'java.net.ConnectException: Connection refused: no further information'
It does this every time I join a new ip. My old servers that are on there work, but every time I add a new one it says that. If you know how to fix it please tell me.
Thanks

I'm just gonna delete my minecraft. I have 3 random singleplayers ones that I don't care about and some servers which I can just add back in.
Thanks for all the suggestions.

Make sure that you are indeed connected to the internet. If you're on a public network, there might be filters in place that will prevent you from connecting to the servers. Try using a hotspot or using the network that you're usually on.

If you are still having this problem, save all your server IPs and delete your .minecraft and do a fresh install

this error will only occur when....
1. the server is down
2. you have the wrong IP

1.All of the servers are up, I checked.
2.They are all correct ips.

Are you running it on your PC?

Yes.

Then have you tried localhost? it always works if hosted on your pc

Is your Minecraft cracked or legit? Cracked clients won't connect to servers unless it's set in the server properties.
Aside from this, you could try (like ProgrammedLUC said) updating your Minecraft. You (generally) have to be on the latest version to connect.

I'm Premium, will try updating.

Try updating your Minecraft, if that doesn't work then you could delete your .Minecraft folder in your appdata but this will get rid of all your minecraft servers so make sure you back them up

Try using Direct Connect?

Tried that.
