Ok, there is a user named Herobrine, so he does exist. How I know this, skin stealer. Proof that his NPC is fake:

No textures in the text files

The first sighting was a hoax.

Proof?

A bunch of sightings say he attacks you, others say that he runs away. So like half are definetly fake.

The way people say that he can be "summoned" actually summons a flaming zombie, which was removed because of the enormous lag and griefers using it to burn people's houses down.

I agree that this is all very fake, but I can't help but get scared playing minecraft after reading these! Lol :D
