Well, actually he was shot multiple times with a gun, and unless it's the matrix you would need to be some sort of ninja to dodge bullets. So Zac really had no chance of surviving.

Backstory:
Orphaned only months ago, Sigmund has had to meet life with fearful eyes in his foster parents' new house. Through countless tussles with older siblings before his parents died, He had learned when to pick a fight - and when to let one slip away.
Now, after wandering into the highschool classroom where his mother used to teach in hopes of reviving his childhood, Sigmund has encountered a nasty surprise.
Appearance: See Calvin and Hobbes.
Weapons: Daddy's Hammer, Mommy's Rolling Pin
Anything Else: Hamburgers of the dead

I'm gonna assume that this takes place in the US and not Japan and that a character can be someone who wasn't connected to the school but ended up at the school somehow.

Name: Jack Baker
Age: 36
Skills: Proficient in several types of weapons, more notably firearms and other military weapons; Wilderness survival skills (obviously does him no good with the urban environment)
Backstory: Baker is a decorated ex marine who was honorably discharged after receiving injury rescuing several marines in his unit in combat. This resulted in the loss of his eye, and while he still possesses the skills to serve, the loss of his eye resulted in discharge from the military. After returning to the states, he would often visit the bars in town, having an apartment simply as a place to sleep and store his stuff. When the apocalypse kicked in, Baker simply put on his uniform, packed his gear and left. While searching for supplies, Baker stumbled upon the high school, and discovered survivors. Realizing that the high school could be locked down and fortified, Baker decided to stay.
Appearance: He wears old woodland camo BDUs, with an ALICE pack to store his supplies and gear. He's a bearded man, with short but messy hair. Over one eye is an eyepatch. He's a more well-built man, and taller than an average person.
Weapons: One standard issue KA-BAR combat knife, one Colt M1911, 7 round mag (8 with an extra chambered round) with two clips. Will mostly use makeshift weapons
