This is the most stupid and half -snip- thing there adding one tiny little horse and a modder with pretty much no money *comparred to the millions of bucks minecraft made* built mo creatures but no the trucking DEV'S don't want to waste any of there god damn money cuz there so greedy if someone running on donates can bloody make a mod that's awesome then someone with 50 times the money should be able to make a billion or so mobs and bug fixes into minecraft and the mod API what the truck are they doing with all this money stuffing it up there -snip-?!?!?!? I'm so stick of the Minecraft DEV'S I hope they just give up alredy and let all the modders add onto minecraft or at least stop half -snipping-there updates

They're adding more than a horse. DrZhark has a Donate button for money. DrZhark was the one who had horses in a mod anyway. DrZhark is probably happy helping Mojang add horses into the game.
If you're going to rage-post over things that are simple and not think why they're hiring someone for a mob instead of someone else for a lot more, and use unnecessary profanity, then don't post at all.
Mojang hasn't finished their game yet, so they don't need to let mods add everything.

Thoughts on horses:
- Apples, carrots, and wheat could be used to tame or breed horses.
- I'm not sure about horses attacking mobs. Most horses are very flighty animals o.o
- the rarity of saddles should be slightly decreased if they will be necessary to ride horses. Maybe they pop up in village chests once in a while?
- A "stable" building for villages would be cool.

I would really like it if mojang added more atmospheric mobs in the game rather than horses. But if they would add horses I want them to have a the horses from mo'creatures...

I'm hoping someday Minecraft will have thousands of mobs, items and plants and blocks and stuff so playing it will be like walking into a blockified fun virtual-reality machine.

The modding API is very difficult new make, and it should be ready in 1.6. Tinted class is wanted by dinnerbone, but it can cause a huge fps drop.

I didn't know everyone would hate horses so much because in earlier versions of the game they would complain about how there were no horses and yell "ADD HORSES!!!!!1!!!!"

The long list of animals walking around would, in fact, include horses.

I've been wishing for horses in MC for a long time but going as far as saying that horses will be in 1.6 because of one picture Jeb tweeted is kind of ridiculous.
I hope they do add them, but I really think it is too soon to say.
If not horses, at least more speed and maneuverability for pigs. Pigs are useless when it comes to using them as transportation. Better off walking.

If it were girl models, it would be just a girl, if hairbrushes, a brush of some sort, if graphics, it would be open terrain, but no, its a huge pic of a freaking horse

I don't think horses should actually be passive, I mean in real life if you make a horse mad its gonna mess you up.

I think it should be like if you hit the horse 3-4 times it starts attacking you and does 2 1/2 damage per hit(because dayum horses are strong afterall!)

Finally! Now I have a more dignified way to launch a charge on my enemies' castles when I RP than a pig. Pigs don't maneuver for crap, and... -sigh- why, pigs, just why...

You wanna know what I want? Better dogs. I don't need horses, not at all actually. But what I do need is dogs that can be healed, walked (as in a leash kind of thing), and wolves that can carry items (a chest strapped to a harness kind of thing). Also, very important, nameable dogs. When Jeb does that, I will be absolutely satisfied.

Just be happy he added dogs in the first place. I don't care for dogs much honestly. and you can tell them apart from collar colors anyways.

Exactly. I no longer go out of my way to tame dogs and neither does anyone else I know because of how pointless it is. Maybe if wolves were more useful this wouldn't happen as much.
