I think this pillar is okay, but it is hard to say since you can't see what it is supporting. I don't think it would be fair to say how good it is, as it is only a few blocks.

The base is nice, however, as it goes up with more white - less brick, it starts to... not match as well

I completely agree , the base is good but it seems to get a bit off topic after that. From the picture at least, it seems like another material might better fit the column rather than quartz pillar.
