How do I extract music from computer games?
Yep, I have a game that plays some pretty good music, but when I don't have internet (for example in the car) and I want to listen to the music, I don't have it.
Is it a way I can record the sound that plays on my computer and save it as a .mp3 file?

Basically play the audio. Let audacity record it. Done.
Hmm... Never tried so..
nammerbomyou can probably find it on a purchasable album somewhere
No, those game developers relase the game. Period. No DLC, no extras, no other things related to the game is relased. Only the plain games. If it exists a few bugs, okay, they let them stay there.
jar9Acc file? convert it to mp3
No, the game is one huge .nds file. The game was originaly made for the Nintendo DS, and I have a emulated version. I can't provide names because then it would have been against PMC's rules.

You can just go into the files and find where the music is saved.

Most of the time no you cant just do that.
Most of the time the audio files are encoded so people dont steal them off the game.
There are a few programs you can get that will allow you to rip the music off of games, but the easiest way is to just look up the games soundtrack on YouTube.

It is a emulated Nintendo DS game, so everything is one huge file that is several gigabytes big. Besides, if I had found it on YouTube I would not have asked on it here. I don't really know how it is emulated, but when I try running it through a emulator that would have worked offline, like DeSmuMe, it only displays a error message.
