Not true. You can put the files in any folder and they will work. Just make a new folder for them on your desktop or something.

MC edit take all the files inside and put them in a folder and you should then just run the .exe or! Right click the JAR/ZIP File and click Open with Java RUntime Blah blah hopes this helps!
