thank you, sorry for the mix up i'm new to servers and just want an easy way to get it set up. All i really understand is plugins and what they do and how to set them up lol

Okay. That is much clearer. I currently host with ScalaCube, and for 3GB I can handle 40 plugins, and 20 players at 20TPS. So doing without a crazy amount of plugins, I could say, my server could handle, easily 70 players (and still have 20tps). So with that in mind, 4x70=280 (3GB goes into 12GB 4 times)

So, 280 players would be my guess.

What is the DNS UpLink?
What is the CPU's power?
Are you porting via hamatchi?
Does your ISP throttle?
Is this a dedicated PC, or are you using your every day PC?
What do you have the TPS at?
Where would you like the TPS to sit?

You can't just ask how any people can join a 12 Gig server.

Example:

How much is a car?

Which car?
From what country?
From which dealer?
Is it second hand?
How old is the second hand car?
How much milage?

If you want though, I can pull a random number out of my rear.

How much space do these plugins take up?
What version of MineCraft are you running?
With bukkit or spiggot?
