I run a vanilla server so I need to know a lot of commands, especially since it's not survival or creative.

Bump :p

Surprisingly more people voted /tellraw and /title than /testfor which was not what I expected.

Vanilla commands are disgusting, it only takes 10 minutes to download a world edit mod and essentials.

Personally, I like that Vanilla Minecraft has the fill command. It does exactly what //set does, and it's very useful for what I do in creative mode.

People can actually do really cool stuff with vanilla commands,...Like making minigames
or a mail system, just about anything you can imagine.
It gives a magic exerience of creating something cool, like what you see on servers, without plugins or mods.

I was just stating my own opinion about Vanilla Commands. Personally i have only found setblock and tp useful though.

Yes, but what if you wanted it night on the adventure map?
And I wanted to put some more commonly used commands there too.
Not just the hard ones like /testfor and /tellraw

Not excluding from adventure maps. Just saying that it's a pretty uncommon command. It is either very specific (maps) or commonly used by people who might be doing a showcase etc, basically a beginner friendly command with few uses.

I Know lots of commands!

/time is pretty uncommon. It's more of a general command whilst the rest are sort of catered moreso towards command blocking/map making.
So /time is a pretty known command, but it is rarely used in mapmaking. The opposite goes for the other commands. Although /tp is used for both.
