I've seen my friend make snowballs explode. Something around that.

theres an app in the android store which has "patches" as they are called which lets you do such stuff, such as smooth lighting, elemental tnt explosions etc

That would be awesome, does anyone know if you can mod in or just upload custom skins in PE?

Mod, not sure, probably, but difficult. Skins, yes, but also difficult and buggy. If you changed your skin, you would have to change the default steve skin, and everyone would have that skin.

If you dont know anything about it, why contribute stuff that is unhelpful.
FIRSTLY
You need to jailbreak your iDevice, then using cydia you need to install a program called iFile. When inside iFile you are in the systems directory, find Applications and fine the minecraft files, when inside there it basically resembles the PC version of minecraft.
Download a texture pack from safari and replace the files.
This is how I installed mine :) Its not easy but worth it.

Umm. I believe you can get iExplorer, Download a skin from the internet, then plug in your iDevice and edit the Minecraft file, name the skin you downlaoded char.png
Then what you wanna do is to is drag that skin in, click replace and there you go! :D
