How do i port forward my server?

I just made a server and learnt that I need to port forward but how do I do that for free? help!!

I got a full server tutorial here with video. I didn't skip a thing. This may help you a lot.
Just skip the first section till about 9:40 on the video here I explain how to do it what to look for.
