How to reduce minecraft lag
So, at this discussion you will gonna learn some ways to reduce as the maximum possible the lag at Minecraft, if you don't have a good computer, this topic is going to be very useful for you so enjoy and follow these steps
1:CHANGING THE DEFAULT MINECRAFT SETTINGS
So the first step doesn't need to install or download anything, you are just going to change the default minecraft settings
Open your minecraft, then you gonna se a "box" where is written "Options" click on it
After clicking the game will open this screen:
http://minemum.com/sites/default/files/ ... ttings.png
There you change your settings to:
Graphics: Fast
Smooth Lighting: OFF
3D Anaglyph: OFF
Clouds: OFF (This option doesn't affect so much the perfomance, but instead i recomend turn it off)
Fullscreen:(I reccomend turn this off, because your computer will run the game as a tiny resolution, increasing the FPS, but your make this as your choice)
MipMap Level: 1
Render Distance: 2 (That depends of how is your computer, if you want max perfomance turn it at 2 but if your computer isn't that bad you can highup this)
Max Framerate: Unlimited
View bobbing (This option doesn't affect perfomance so you can turn it ON/OFF
Brightness: (This option doesn't affect perfomance, but i recomend turning this at Bright so you can see better at night)
Particles: Minimal (This will reduce the lag but its going to remove some game features)
Use VSYNC: OFF
Anisotropic Filtering: OFF
2: OPTIFINE
The next step is installing a program called optifine, its very know from the comunity by removing your minecraft lag and freeze, Access this link to download it:optifine.net/downloads
When you access this link you gonna select the version of minecraft that you want to use it, Download from you browser and open it and finished the installing progress
ADVICE: Your minecraft must be closed for doing the installation of this addon,
After downloading and installing it, you gonna open your minecraft, go to Edit Profile and select the version with the Optifine, after that save the profile and join the game
The optifine will add more options to the minecraft options, so there you can turn off a bunch off stuff that causes lag and freezing at your computer
This is the optifine menu: https://i.ytimg.com/vi/0uJGZ_G4wIw/maxresdefault.jpg
