Huge Minecraft snapshot bug, can anyone help me?
Well hello random internet browser! I have encountered a really odd bug in Minecraft 14w29b, and it has literally made the game unplayable for me. I need help trying to figure out what is going on, and how to fix it!
As seen in the video (Or put here for anyone that wants to read instead of watch):
1) Chunks take a while to load.
2) Blocks take a horrifically long time to render and un-render.
3) Block collisions apply before the blocks themselves are rendered (Normal, note the hitboxes in the video.
Some basic specs:
OS: Windows 8.1
CPU: Core i5 @ 3.1 GHz
RAM: 12 GB
Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce GT 635
Please help me out here!

Looks like 14w30b just fixed my problem. Thanks Mojang!

Well you're lucky.
I'm having this problem on 14w30b that whenever I press F5 twice (to look back), all the blocks are transparent, and I can see caves, mineshafts, etc.
It's very frustrating.

ya mine keeps crashing

VBOs were already off. I tried turning them on, and it doesn't seem to make that much of a difference in terms of this bug.
1
I just stick to 14w28b.
Oh, and they've got 14w30b out, so hopefully that fixes some things.

1
Disable VBO in the options. You enabled it, which is why this is happening.
1
Where is that option again? I can't seem to find it for some odd reason.
1
This seems to be happening a lot, I saw this in Etho's videos.
