Laptop keyboard won't work properly ?

Hey, I just bought a laptop of a friend with a faulty keyboard, only ONE letter works which is "U" and when I plug in a USB keyboard only a few letter will work on the USB keyboard.
Any help?

The USB keyboard works now, so I am thinking it's just the laptop keyboard.

There may be an issue with your motherboard, do you still have warranty on the laptop?

How would I reinstall it or de install?

Try deinstalling the keyboard driver and then reinstalling it.

Well that's weird that both the built in and USB keyboard wont work. Does your USB keyboard work properly on a different computer?
