Planet Minecraft

I'm wondering if someone could create a mod that creates much larger maps. I love exploring but all the maps are driving me crazy. Can someone make on major map that would cover the planet? Or if not at least 2-5 times larger than the current one.

What do you mean..... Minecraft maps go on (Almost) forever.... It would take you a couple days (real days) of constant walking for you to get to any edge.....

There is no edge, they changed it.

IThe maps that are available now are small, i want something that would span a larger area im always building new things and i have to carry around multiple maps just to travel between locations. When i make a map it has set edges, i have to carry four or five at a time to figure out where im going. Sorry should have clarrified that i meant in game maps

Oh ok, sorry I misunderstood what you ment. Yea that would be a good mod to make but I can't mod so someone else will have to do it.

i hate having to carry like 5 maps just to go to the only forest were i can find wolves x3
