There should be a button or setting somewhere to make everything pin in the way it used to be.

Here's a wild guess, the longer you navigate the more revenue gets milked. Still, it's not that bad. They're just drop down menus of the same links.

You can pin items to make it easier . Select the one you want to view. Then, hover over its name on the taskbar and click. Now it will be pinned. Once pinned to your taskbar, it will stay like that forever. So, because of this feature, you can setup the taskbar just like it was.

If you hover over the logo of the section you're currently in (the bit of paper for Blogs, for example) a little pin will appear.
Click it, and the thing will be added to your navbar permanently, like so:
You can even click and drag them to re-arrange them however you please.
