I am the co-owner of NecaCraft RPG Server, and we are now entering large changes to the way our server operates and first on our list is our map. Minecraft generated maps are boring and don't have a medieval, roman, dwarven RPG look about them, This is where you come in... We are looking for a talented individual of whom is willing to create a map that blows Minecraft generated maps out of the water. We are not asking for builds to be created within the map, but just the terrain itself.
What are we looking for?
A map which stands out from the rest and is suitable for large builds, such as cities etc.
Different locations such as deserts and huge Mountain valleys with rivers and canyons, dark swamps, and mystical forests, and nordic tundras.
We want to be able to adapt many races into the map, Nordes, Elven, Orcs, Dwarves, Wizards, Knights, Humans and so on.
1.3 Compatible with not too much emerald spawning, as we want to control our economy.
A quest feel about the map, so it takes adventurers across rope bridges spanning the depths of canyons (we will do this part), where it takes several in game days and nights to reach their destination.
We want a very, very big map, which eventually ends on all sides with shear cliffs dropping into oceans.
Height differentiation with the landscape, so mountains spiralling up to max build height or even higher to give a sense of shock, that it can never be climbed.
Caves for dragons, and societies to house themselves.
We want our spawn area to be quite flat and needs to home a smallish city surrounded by mountains.
Oh! Did I mention WATERFALLS?
What will you get out of this?
You will get 100% credit for the landscaping of the map, we will make a link from our forums, to your work and recommend you for future projects to others. We will also give you an honoury position on our Team at NecaCraft RPG server, as our in house map designer.
Note: We are also looking for someone who is brilliant at art and is willing to help us with our YouTube art design, forum design and much more.
