I think next you should try your first mob texture, if it is good those 4 no's will turn into yes's
(i voted yes),

Bump!

Textures look okay to me, only real problem I see is bit of rock in the dirt, it looks out of place to me. Other than that, yeah, everyone beat me to that punch, lol.

Something I'd suggest when you work on a pack in order to see if the texture will 'tile' correctly is to take the texture you're working on and put it in a double sized canvas and copy it so it'll end up being a 2x2 of your original... you should be able to see if anything really isn't quite right on the edges.
Also for pattern errors (you can't really escape from them too much, everything has a kind of pattern to them) I'd recommend doing the same thing but more in a 3x3 or 4x4 to see how it'll start looking on a larger wall.
I hope that helps Lil' Creeper.

New textures, red mushroom, inside mushroom, mushroom stem. Retextured stone slabs and gold block

I don't see anything wrong with having grass underneath the snow.

Ok so I'm going off what people said here:
1. The gold is shaded weird
I only noticed I put the wrong shade after I saw the texture in-game, I do plan on fixing that.
2. The snow on the dirt should not have any green
I kinda thought it looked cool, but if that's like a no-no in texture packs I'll remove it.
3. Tiling
I'm not very good at that yet, and I have multiple failed 'tiled' attempts. It's something I just gotta keep practicing.
4. Wood looks like stone bricks
I wanted the log to look very natural and the planks to look very refined, but I do plan on making the lines on the planks a lot more subtle
5. Remove unnecessary lines
I have noticed that, but I haven't remembered to go back in and change it
6. Stone slab textures look wrong
That was actually the second texture I made, so I will replace it

This is so cool I don't understand why people would vote no I wish I could do this lol

Great! Only tip i could say is, im a level 1 xD but I have made texture packs b4 and i wanna just say, put time into them even if it takes about 6 hours, it will all be worth it in the end. you nenver know you could get more XP for that! -Prin

textures are awesome man! Great job!
1
Pretty good, but you need to work on your tiling, mainly on the dirt.
1
It's amazing m8! Nice!
1
I would suggest not showing any green on the snowy grass sides. It's because mycelium shares the same texture.
1
Going to be completely honest here, not a big fan. The colors all seem rather gradient, and the wood planks look like bricks. Overall textures seem a bit messy, I'd suggest removing unneeded lines/details. For instance, the one brown pixel on the inside of log textures. Just my two cents.
Also, the gold block textures' highlights are a little strange, the highlight is actually darker then the darker shade. I like the colors on the Netherack though.

I'm not a fan of the wood looking like stone bricks, but that's just me.
Really nice flow throughout the texture pack. Nothing that seems too out of place compared to everything else.
I'd say 9/10, cause it's not completely finished

Yeah, those are some good textures. However, I think that the stone slab textures could be improved... I mean, they look rather "flat." I also think that most of the ore blocks should be given a new texture. I mean, they all looks the same, just recolored.
Overall though, this looks rather nice.

Ok so, here are gold and diamond blocks, and behind it are all the stained glass textures!
Also, I thought the multi-directional sand and grass in 1.8 would mess up the textures, but they actually look kinda cool!

Also, the gold looks a bit funny.

Everything.. I-it's so smooth.
I want it.
I want it.

Better than sphax... IMO But hey sphax hurts my eyes... to many non squares yours doesnt Continue the work and release the pack c:

Here are new/improved textures I've made now:
Packed ice, ice, glass, mycelium, smooth sandstone, sandstone is much softer now, sand CONNECTS! (I need to take out those dashes though), and red sand

Not bad! That old cobblestone looks a lot like my old Dreams of Drean cobblestone. lol
But I'm looking forward to this!
Also, I think you going with 16x16 is fine. Trust me, when you start doing items in 32x32...you want to bash your head against the screen. The current pack (unreleased) I'm working on has that problem...

Oh gosh, don't break your screen! Wear a pillow on your head! Thanks though, I reeeally don't want to jump into 32x32 any time soon
1
lol Thanks for that mental image! I'll add a pillow on my head in the next avatar.
But my only suggestion for the pack is adjust the dirt. It tiles a little.

Love the ores. But you should use higher resolution to add more details
1
Looks great!
1
I like the style of your texture pack! Please tell me when it is available for download
1
It likely won't be very soon because of the 50% rule for texture packs, I'd say a few weeks? Maybe a month? But I'll be sure to PM you when it does
1
Yes, but I must add some of the wood is a little messy
1
The logs or planks?
1
Some of the textures look a little weird when they're tiled, but other than that they're pretty good.
1
Yes I think the grass looks a bit odd because of the strong contrast in the pattern but overall this has a very nice and well planned theme.
1
Which ones?
1
Sand and mycelium, like you said, but also wood planks (or was that purposeful?) and obsidian, and the spaces between bricks on the stone brick texture don't quite match up.
1
The wood one was intentional, hm I didn't notice the brick and stone brick, I'll go over and see what I can do, thank you!
1
I'll be adding a few more textures in a bit, but for now, bump!
1
3 new textures: bricks, netherbrick, and trapdoors!
1
Nice job! Make sure they tile, I really like it though, you're good. o3o
1
Do they tile well? Show us them in groups of the same block.
1
The sand and mycelium need work, as well as the bricks, but I already had that planned to work on. The normal grass looks really nice though
1
Here's some more logs and planks I made:
1
I like them, simple, I'm thinking of making my own tetxturepack.
1
Do it, it's actually really fun to see textures in-game once you've made them!
1
The new textures are really nice! I like them quite a lot.
1
Thanks I think I'll release it, obviously once I have much more textures done.
1
This makes me so jealous of ur skills
1
Here they are! (If you're confused on what a block is I'll clear it up)
1
A little more contrast would really make them pop!
But as far as minimal style textures go it's great :3

Bump! I'll add a picture with some new textures I made in a few minutes
1
it looks quite good, but as many things it has room for improvement.
I recommend you try to add a little more shading between the cracks and the rock parts of what seems to be the cobblestone texture. If you cant do this in 32x32,just upscale them to 64x64. They could be really cool then.
