Making different parts of lore different colors
Or is it even possible to color lore with command blocks? I need a line of lore on an item that's white, to look like an enchant, then another line in normal colors for the actual lore.

You can access more parameters with NBT Explorer but I don't think you can change lore color.

I believe there's a MCEdit filter for this. Probably by SethBling. I know it works to make the whole text a color, but I have no idea if it works on specific parts of it.

I do indeed have that filter, but then problem then arises that in order to get the colors, it adds the character that we were talking about before that you can't put in command blocks.

Um, I'm afraid that if you looked it up or used commands blocks much you'd know that getting that character into command blocks is next to impossible, you can't type them, paste them, or even move them in. I'll grant, that would work, but it's completely unfeasible. Any other ideas?

Use § then put 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 0 a b c and so on to make it colored I think.
Here's a blog someone made on it http://www.planetminecraft.com/blog/how-to-write-colored-text-in-books-in-minecraft-without-mods/
