Guys is it me or is my Single player laggy... i thought it was just some error i checked all the programs that are Currently on and it was just only minecraft! this makes me wonder if Notch will lose Players or not. I guess it's my computer.. but it has Good ram.. and yes my computer is old like 3 years or 4 old but still how come 1.2.5 is fast but 1.3 is laggy
but then after i was searching for solution and mostly People are saying update your drivers.. but mine is fully updated and can no longer update further.. and others say that Mojang is getting more advanced meaning that there using lots of programs on minecraft now... the current FPS i am getting is 7-10 per sec.. Any ways guys i ll try to find Solution or way to Make it less laggy but for now Optfine is good!

Yeah.But for me,its not laggy,it's just very messed-up and glitchy,not laggy.Notch said he turned single player similar to multi,and now single needs internet connection to play it similar to multiplayer.So,when U are disconnected,Minecraft needs more ram to simulate and emulate the world. Etc. And turns out messed-up,glitchy and laggy.

oh ok thank you for the respond! i was worried that it was just me who was lagging..
but my internet is on, and he shouldn't add the LAN server to the Sp Because he should know there is like 1/4 of his buyers may lagg... also i find that Lan servers added are kind of buggy and annoying there should be option to turn it off... But anyway i am still looking for way to Make it less lagg

i agree mobs are really glitchy although i reduced the lagg down bit, i will shortly make blog on how..

I have gotten an amazing fps boost. i averaged around 20 using optifine on normal distance and peaceful. now i average around the 50's, lag spikes bring me down to 27-34 fps.
Some comps. have gotten the boosts, some haven't. it is hit and miss.

is optifine updated? and thanks for responding i need more details and ways on how to reduce it but for now there is one small way to make it less lag bit... View my new blog if you need to know.

NOT notch , Notch has nothing WHAT SO EVER to do with minecraft anymore

You don't need internet to play singleplayer...

but when you play singleplayer you now are running a minecraft server on your computer that you are connecting to.

i agree with you although i never was pumped since there was not much added to minecraft 1.3 (my point of view) it was just mostly Glitches were fixed and 2-5 things added that's it... (remembers the old memories of alpha.. when herobrine was alive XD)

Its more laggy even by admission of jeb himself.

and more buggy cause now in ssp you have all the smp bugs and ssp ones.

1.3 i am barely pullin 90 fps now on default terrain on high end game system with no mods.

was a lot higher fps fully modded in 1.2.5

It isn't really jebs fault... the problem really is... hiring bukkit team members
