aight so ive been building this Huuuuuge "mystery box" which is basically just a fancy designed wool box with tons of command blocks the idea was that u would press 1 button and it would randomly choose one of the command "sections" and trigger the set command but But i cant figure out how to create a redstone device that randomly chooses 1 section without it choosing all.. i would prefer one button:/ help plz?

Place a bunch of armor stands with different names in the same spot. Set up a command block to give a point to one of them, and another command block to set the section depending on the name of the chosen armor stand.

If you ctrl+middle click on a command block, you pick up that block with the command in it. It can then be put in a dispenser, and when activated, the dispenser will place a random command block from the 9 slots. This is the simplest way of randomly choosing a command.
Do remember that nothing in the computer is actually random, it just appears to be.

Actually fun fact, the 1.8.6 update made it so that dispensers can no longer place command blocks, and in the process broke a lot of maps. Right now the easiest way to make randomizers would be to take the commands that you would put into the dispenser and execute them off different armor stands with the @r selector. It's not as clean as the dispensers, but it's the best we've got. Here's a video on the idea behind it, feel free to ask any questions you have: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OBaTxN2b4Hs

There was a bug that allowed players to get op on any server where they already had creative mode. I'm not going to go into all the reasons for stuff here, but a lot of people are kinda mad at it, as it broke many maps (like Simburbia and Diversity 2). The good news is that Searge does plan on bringing the feature back once a more permanent solution is implemented.
