It all started on February 2, 2010, When we had the idea of Metrocraft.
We will give it to you simple and honest, All the statistics that you see below that every server states, I can assure you that we come to you with better. We adapt to our community instead of trying to mould our community to us, also instead of trying to cheat our way to success we earn it. At Metrocraft we have something for everyone. For those who like to just build, we provide a safe building environment with absolutely no risk of losing progress. For those who like to fight, we have an in-depth PvP system, and a nightly time when the entire server unites in mob arena. For those who like eye-candy, we have some of the best builders in the Minecraft universe, many of which design for a living. For those who like a fair survival environment, we have a customized anti-cheat system making the game fair for everyone. Even for those who just like making friends, we have the most friendly, bonded community out there.

Our staff is a team of professionals at what we do, and we promise you won't be disappointed.

Many Perks are included, absolutely for free! However we also do have donation levels that each include their very own unique perks. Most of our plugins are customized highly for our server, and are not the 'off the shelf' version you can just go and download.

A FEW of the free perks include:

Enhanced Towny:
- We have a customized version of towny allowing you to band together with your friends, have your buildings protected, and go to war with your enemies.

Economy:
- Metrocraft features one of the most in-depth economy systems out there. Not only do players and towns have the ability to make their own buying or selling shops with duckshop, but there are also various NPC's around the world who buy and sell items, provide services, or even quests in exchange for money!

Mob Arena:
- A few servers have mob arena, but we have taken it to the next level. We customized and edited the plugin, and made unique and amazing arenas to fit it. Each night for a few hours the entire server bands together for a few rounds of co-op horde mode fun!

PvP:
- Everyone knows that with dozens of people on a server, surviving mobs is just too easy. On our server global PvP is enabled. However, all players have the ability to make an ingame safezone where they will not be vulnerable to PvP. The more friends who contribute to the the town, the bigger the safezone can be. Therefore those who want the fun of PvP have it right on their doorstep, but those who don't want it can
avoid it without having a stupid toggle system.

Protection:
- In addition to you being able to create a town alone, or with friends to protect a large area of land, you can also use lwc to lock an infinite amount of belongings for free. Also greifs are instantly rollbacked, and the greifer banned thanks to a modified version of BigBrother. Your buildings are safe!

Brilliant server! I go on here a lot, and it's very good! They have NPCs, and other brilliant things! Come here! There is a registering process, to find out about how to sign up on the forums, type /register. When you get building rights, you have to go 100 blocks from spawn to build, and I suggest you join a town. Towny is a plugin which prevents from griefing in towns, and you can even change permission to not even let town RESIDENTS to touch anything that isn't owned by that player. Love, ZoJoe.

Metrocraft is the best online server out there. Whether you are a hardcore gamer or just a casual player, Metrocraft has something for you. When you first join Metrocraft you will be a guest and you must attain rights. The process is painless and will take only but a few minutes. Once you do this, the world is open to whatever you want to make of it. Building, PvP, mining or whatever else you like to do. Metro almost always has helpful and kind staff online that is willing to help you with any problems. Best of all Metrocraft is free to play on. All of these plugins are brought to you free of charge and all for your enjoyment. Metro also has a live streaming map that is up 24/7 on their website so you are always able to see other people’s buildings or just to remember how you got to your best mine. Towns are another big part of the server. Get some friends and start a place all to yourself. Claim the land and protect it from any harm and so off some of those great building skills. There are also events that are always taking place. Building contests and more add to all of the fun that the server has to offer. Come check out this great server.
