Microsoft Surface Studio
Today, the Surface Studio was announced. It's an all-in-one PC with a load of features and some pretty beefy specs to back them up.
Specs:
- i5 or i7 CPU (likely mobile quad-cores like the 6300HQ and 6700HQ)
- GTX 965M or 980M (2 or 4GB GDDR5)
- 8 to 32GB RAM
- 1 to 2TB SSD
- 4500x3000px touch screen display
- Surface Pen, Surface Dial, wireless keyboard & mouse combo
Personally I think not only is the computer amazing, but the video is probably the best promotion I've ever seen. What do you guys think?

But can it play Minecraft?! O:

Honestly, if it can handle the latest games to an extent, I'd prefer the Studio over a Cintiq any day.

The base model's 965M should have no problem running recent games at 1080p with reduced settings.

True but at this machine is not designed for gaming and if you actually want to spend that much money for a gaming machine you could get a pretty badass gaming machine

Of course. This is a content creation tool that can also game - hence why Indraft compared it to the Wacom Cintiq line of digitizer monitors.

The dial is the most amazing thing I have ever seen in my life.. but it is a useless gimmick
let me guess the price.. 10 grand?
A. why did you quote OP
B. its not a gimmick if your a professional with a job, unlike you who lives out of your moms basement
C. 10 grand may be expensive but its worth it to a engineer, btw its like 4K

I'm interested on how it will deal with wear on the hinges, I'm sure Microsoft did a good job on it but who knows.

This looks absolutely amazing for graphic designers in particular, pretty decent spec too. Only thing is, I'd still go for an iMac simply for the OS... Either that or run the Surface on Linux or something.
On a different note, cool music, but not a fan of the singing, can hear some autotune in there too

I think it's cool. But, I'd rather get an iMac. Before anyone starts telling me that pc's(Even though Mac's are still pc's) I built my own computer and think they both have its advantages and disadvantages. I would personally get an iMac because of the optimization and amazing customer support that Apple provides. Also, you can bring it in for repairs(I'm not sure if Microsoft stores do in-store repairs).
Also, I took the 2nd best 5k iMac and put in a 4.0 ghz clocked cpu and 32gb of ram. (Non ddr4)
