PermalinkHello, my name is William, and I'm making a Minecraft themed animation in Blender. I still want help though, because I don't have the skills required to make everything on my own.
The first episode has already been written, and voice actors picked out. (Though help is always appreciated)
All that I am looking for is skinners, people who can make Minecraft skins. I'm not going to set a limit but I can't use multiple people unless they have similar styles (clashing styles never look good).
I need at least 14 skins for unique characters, and a few more for random peasants. There are only a few rules to follow, should you consider offering your help:
-No eyebrows, I am using animated ones, so static image eyebrows do not work.
-No hoods, I can add hoods in 3D that can be removed.
-No armor, or pretty much any removable item, except basic clothes, since I want to add those in 3D so they can be taken off.
-Most of your effort should be focused on the face, because clothing can be similar between characters.
The idea with the skins is to have group-based clothing, with main differences being in the face, where most of the detail will be seen, and is expected. Any and all help would be awesome, and if anyone is very willing, I can provide additional details in the form of a google doc.
I think that each person should take one group/clan, and that way large differences will be less significant.
Additionally, if I really like your armor skins, but your style does not fit in the unarmored section, then I may consider using your skills to create a texture for the armor I've made. One problem with the armor is that it isn't simple like normal Minecraft, but rather each one may require it's own custom texture.
