Minecraft Crash after Startup!!! Please Help

Okay so my last computer quit working, so I got an Acer Aspire One w/ Intel Atom. I Downloaded Minecraft and When I press enter game it goes to a black screen for a few seconds then exits by itself and on my desktop comes up a .txt file thats named:
hs_err_pid2660

I kinda have an addiction to this game and it KILLS me when i cant play it.

My graphics card is an Intel Corporation US15 Embedded Graphics Chipset Function 0.
All Hardware Accelerations are enabled...

I dont know what else to do. if ANYONE out there knows what to do I would really extremely appreciate it... my friend has the same netbook and his minecraft works just fine. so Idk what it could be...thx!!:)

I think you either installed the wrong java or it is out of date.

I have Java 7. Some ppl said that Java 7 and Minecraft "didn't agree with each other", however, some ppl also said that it was the best thing to use for Minecraft.

I would check if your Windows is up to date. If you want to reinstall java, you can uninstall and reinstall it from the guides in the following links. Keep in mind though, we're not responsible for any damages you may cause to your computer.

But before you dig into all of that... have you tried a simple uninstall and reinstall (removing all minecraft appdata files)?

I've tried it all!! Deleting, uninstalling, minecraft, java, and yes, my windows is up to date i think. I have Windows Vista service pack 2. Java 7 update 7. and minecraft v1.2.5

It seems that your java version isnt combatible with your Minecraft version. Im still learning java, but this really seems to be the issue...
