Minecraft Crashing

So I have my laptop dual booted with Windows 7 and Ubuntu. On you Ubuntu I can play minecraft 1.8.1 no problem but when I try on windows 7 the game will open show the mojang screen and then crash leaving this error

May I ask what "Ubuntu" is? Just trying to figue out what I'm dealing with.

first do you have mods if you do than try putting one mod in at a time to find out what mod it is it could also be because you have tried to change the settings or there might be something you need to update on your computer
