force update your minecraft

i have something similar but mine keeps crashing ever since i got modloader. I deleted META-INF but i'll force update which will get my passed the black screen but then it will show me and fast error and go back to the black screen. How can i get modloader working and not crash my minecraft?

try deleting the .minecraft folder in your "%appdata%" (type this in run)

it wont let me. It keeps saying "try again" but it will keep comeing up.

should i try deleting the bin and re download 1.6.6?

oh nvm i got it. i put modloader in minecraft. jar which i guess messed it up but when i put it in my mcpatcher my minecraft started to work again. I saw that modloader was in your mcpatcher in the video so i tried it out.
