Minecraft keeps crashing everytime I open it up

Everytime I open up minecraft (1.7.9) it keeps crashing. After I login, the screen goes black and it won't respond. Anyone having the same problem? Help please

Ok
One do you have any (outdated) mods on because that might be the problem.
Two did this happen when changing to 1.7.9?
Thirdly when it goes black do you try to shut down Minecraft
Fourthly check in your .minecraft folder because their might be a virus
And lastly take this up with Mojang and tell them you problem cause they know more about this than I do.
