basically i downloaded the technic launcher (i have successfully run both minecraft and technic in the past) and i started it and it says unable to authenticate account with minecraft.net. so i tried minecraft instead i downloaded it and tried to start it but i end up with this....
as you will probably notice im on a mac running Snow Leopard

It also could be your antivirus deleting the file as it downloads. Try disabling it and reinstalling.

It seems it can't download launcher.pack.lzma. Try clicking on the link and it should download that file. If it can't then it's a problem with you internet or the minecraft servers
