There are sooo many talented Mod creators out there. I need someone to create a real elevator mod. Something like the old Dynamic elevator mod from MC 1.2.5. Not like that garbage "elevator" mod that just throws you all the way to the top, or the constantly, seriously buggy thut's elevator. I don't understand how those bugs haven't been fixed after the updates through the years. Either way, Minecraft needs elevators that stop on each floor. I'm surprised that there aren't a lot of people trying to make one.
I'm not looking for some complicated, over-sized redstone contraption either. Just a cool elevator mod for 1.8

pneumatic craft had a cool elevator but I don't think they're updating to 1.8. It took a lot to make too.

There is simple way to make an elevator in minecraft. You just have 2 buttons, one for up and one for down. The button that goes up is connected to a command block that teleports you to an identical room on the floor above. Then you do the same for the button to go down, except you set the command block to teleport you to an identical room under you. It's a simple, yet working elevator you can add in buildings, but if your looking for a platform that will actually levitate, I can't help you.

That's cool but I'm not the best with command blocks. Trust me I've tried. I did download an "elevator with just one command block" things but I had to keep redoing it whenever I logged back in or went far enough to unload those chunks. I'm telling you, the best elevator mod that was ever created was dynamic elevators for 1.2.5.

I'm not talking about commands block creations(the things you copy the link for in the websites like pmc) I'm just talking about the plain tp command. If you don't know the command it's: /tp @p <x coordinate> <y coordinate> <z coordinate>
In the x y z thing just type the coordinates like for example: /tp skygamer12x -13 5 60

Piston translocators are about as close as we can get to real elevators. Also they're cheap as hell.
