Hello people,
I am an aspiring writer and I would like to pilot this thing I wrote when I was bored. I have the ambition to create and run a series of shorts on minecraft and I need a couple of people for my first, pilot episode, which will sort of be a test. If it fails, we don't need to bother and we don't need to post it on youtube. But I think some of my ideas have potential and I think that I would know ways to appeal to people's sense of humour on youtube.
It works like this. Something odd, but nevertheless. I need a female voice actor, preferably body acting a character too AND I need an extra to. I also need a camera man/woman, who will need to listen to everything I have to tell them about how I want them to film something, and I need a server host, perhaps someone more permanent who would be willing to take part in the acting and be dedicated to helping us out so that we can do our bit. Remember, however you help, your IGN or if preferred nickname WILL appear in the credits at the end, and possibly in the description. Guys, I'm not trying to be something I'm not but if this all goes really well, this could end up on machinima's channel, maybe.
The pilot episode in question will be about a man and a woman. The man tells his story to a camera that he will once show his wife, of how they both met, how their lives have gone together, their ups and downs (all of which will be comical) and finally a very loving speech at the end. This may seem soppy and not funny at all, but a good voice actor will try to portray their voice so that it is evident that something funny will happen. And it will. One of the "ups" to the couples' life is that they go and buy a dog and the woman claims the dog for her own. It turns out that a man, also a body actor, is looking at the dog in question, when the couple barges through and takes the dog. The very same man bursts through the window at the end of the speech, when the screen fizzles out to show the couple watching the now blank screen. He charges forward with a diamond sword and kills the wife. The man has a massive rage, and then finally the attacker kills him too. He says "Next time, don't push in the line!" and then kills the dog too, and the credits roll.
This episode in particular is a gamble but could go down well.
One final note is that I want in no exceptions anyone under the age of 13 to be doing any roles, please. Don't sign up, it's annoying for people who actually can read.
