I'm pretty sure you can do it like this. Just replace the char.png file with your skin.

I hope that when they come out with skins they make it so it is customizable, instead of the skin pack you have to pay for which kinda sucks.

I have a yoshi skin and dandelion texture pack on my iPad since I jail broke it with Pangu

there is absolutly NO way to do it. Unless you jailbreak but i have no idea how that works.

I guess there's benefits from buying the cheap version of Minecraft, and then there are benefits from buying the awesome version through a computer. I love computers. xD

you can put the files onto a computer and edit the skin file, but i don't think you can change it using just your iDevice.
