Dreams...when you sleep in a bed ever so often you will be transported to another world...with randomly spawned mountains and things or pre-made dream/nightmare worlds and you spawn with a certain set of tools and things to complete the dream challenge and if you die or dont do the challenge in X amount of time you wake up..If you successfully complete the challenge you awake with a temporary effect thats useful too the player like temporary increased health or speed....and I can diffidently help with pictures.

How about Making it where zombies can spot you from a bigger distance.(Like a ghast)

Where Creepers move towards you much faster...when they spot you.
Like a Kamikaze sprint?
