So i've been wondering, with the new 1.3.1 update they added the ability to play LAN through a single player game.. but what if the game has mods and players have these mods installed. Can they play the single player mods in LAN?

It will depend on the mod itself.

But the answer is for most part yes.

Some will require both to have.

you are able to play with mods without having the other person have the same mod unless the mod adds new things to the game like blocks or mobs.

If you do use a mod that adds blocks or mobs to the game then he *should* be able to play but he wont be able to see the blocks or mobs but still be able to get hurt or break the added stuff.
