PermalinkI've been on PMC for quite a while now as I have our server Empire Minecraft listed here. However, aside from one or two posts for technical PMC help, I haven't posted on the forums yet. So, here I am.
My name IcecreamCow actually came before Minecraft existed, though people think it's a play of words on the game. I was playing Saints Row 1 online and in a lobby me and some guy were debating on who lived in the cooler spot (Me in Wisconsin and him in California). After we took turns listing reasons, I blurted, "In Wisconsin, Cows make Icecream from their udders in the Winter." He froze for a few seconds and went, "You win man." So, the IcecreamCow was born.
I've been playing Minecraft for about a year now...just over I believe. My good friend Justin and I had a private server that had just a few of us on it. Our few friends always had the whole: "Can I invite just one or two people, more?" We were nice so always said yes. Eventually, we had said yes so many times, that we were a pretty quick growing community. We figured since we had it going, we would take the plunge and try and create something epic out of it. One year later we have 10 servers (and more coming) and close to 50,000 members on our community site.
It's funny, when I used to look at Minecraft from the outside (before actually trying), it looked completely boring and uninteresting to play...now it takes up a good chunk of my day.
