Need a PC build for as little as possible.
Hey guys. My current PC is becoming unusable, so I would like to get a new one. My parents don't usually buy me huge things like this, so I am going to ask to get this for Christmas. I am not setting a budget, but make it as little as possible. I am going to be paying for most of this, and I am not old enough to get a job, so I don't have a steady supply of cash, so again, please as little as possible.
What is this computer going to be used for?
Minecraft, Sims, (recording) and just editing and using Paint.net.
What is your budget?
USD. I don't exactly have a budget, just please, please make it as little-costing as you possibly can.
Where do you live? If in the US, do you have a nearby Microcenter?
There is one a couple hours away, but I most likely will not be able to go to it.
What is included in the budget?
Tower, OS, and monitor.
Will you be overclocking?
Don't plan to.
Will you be reusing any parts?
Just the keyboard and the mouse, nothing huge. I would re-use my monitor, but I don't have one, I have a all-in-one PC.
What OS do you want?
I perfer windows 8 or 8.1
Any specific case preferences?
Nope
Any other special features that you want in the build?
Nope

CPU: AMD Athlon 5350 Quad-Core APU ($94.97 @NewEgg)
RAM: 4GB Crucial Ballistix Sport 240 Pin DDR3 ($34.99 @NewEgg)
GPU: ASUS Radeon R7 240 (69.99 @NewEgg)
Storage: 1TB Western Digital Black ($74.99 @NewEgg)
Motherboard: Gigabyte AM1M-SH2 ($34.98 @Amazon)
Case: Fractal Design Core 1000 USB 3.0 MicroATX Mid Tower Case (24.99 @NewEgg)
Power Supply: CORSAIR CX430 ($29.99 @NewEgg)
Optical Drive: ASUS DRW23B Burner ($19.99 @NewEgg)
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 8.1 (OEM) (64-bit) ($99.99 @Staples)
Total: $485.69
Great PC with amazing performance. Able to run some of the most demanding games on medium-high settings at 40 - 60 FPS. Minecraft, specifically, runs at a constant 58 - 61 or so with high graphics. You may need to adjust the render distance a little, but it shouldn't be a problem if you have V-Sync enabled in the game settings.
I couldn't find a monitor, but you can usually get a used flatscreen reasonably cheap from eBay/Goodwill. I hope this helped!

That cpu + gpu is a waste. You'd save some money by just getting a 7850k or a 7700k.
Or, go with an athlon and a 250x/260x

I made a similar request in the past. You may want to reffer to this old thread for a good idea of what your getting into:

You can get a computer for $200 without a Windows OS. With, would come to about $300.
If you want cheaper, Microsoft gives companies free Windows OS licenses to any companies who make Windows laptop/tablet devices under 8 inches, so look for one of those for cheaper.
Keep in mind any of these suggestions will probably struggle playing Minecraft, and struggle more playing Sims. Paint.net should run on anything with a dual core processor theoretically...
