Hello there fellow minecrafters!

I am starting up a new project to build cities based on real cities in minecraft.
For this project I am looking for (experienced) builders who are willing to sacrifice their free time to help me build the first city. The goal of this project is to create a nation with cities, villages, scary forests and dungeons and stuff like that which can then be used for a mmo rpg, which is the final stage of this project.

Some details of the project:
The server runs on tekkit, which provides us with more building options (like vertical slabs, half slabs, colums, covers, etc.) (check here for more information on tekkit:http://www.technicpack.net/tekkit/ )
Why tekkit and not just bukkit or vanilla some might ask. The reason i want to use tekkit is that it allows plugins and mods not possible with bukkit or vanilla. For instance the extra building options, the enchanced redstone wiring, new mobs and animals and the list goes on and on.

Existing buildings will be rebuild on a reallife scale wherever possible. Landmarks like the empire state building as an example are just not possible to do 1:1 due to the height limit of the game.

Creative mode and world edit, else it would be a nightmare to do this.

The build styles are neoclassical, baroque, high victorian, revival gothic, etc. Basicly most styles of the late 18th, early-mid 19th century.

This thread deserves more attention then most of the threads around here due to the time spent in creating it and ofcourse the concept.
