Hi all, I want to start a Minecraft and preferably other games series. Not the average lets play, something unique which I'm not going to tell to avoid getting my ideas stolen :p. So anyways, this summer I'm going to do a vacation job to earn the money to build a computer, currently I lack the money and FPS to record(I play on a laptop). So I need a computer build, a COMPLETE BUILD, I'm a noob with computers, but I got an old desktop, its from 2007 if I'm lucky, can I recycle this into a better computer ? It's really old, so it only got like .. 560MB ram lol. The price range I'm looking to spend is 500-800. Cheaper will do, note I'm looking to record minecraft lag-free. If any of you have experience with recording minecraft, please leave a message with your price of your build and your FPS whilst recording, thank you !

Go to http://www.reddit.com/r/buildapcforme/
Make your post title "$600-800 Gaming PC" and you'll get answers in a day or two.

I have EXACTLY the same dilemma as you. What job are you going to do?

What currency are you in.

I came up with a build a few days ago.

i5 3570k
GTX 650 Ti SSC
500gb standard hd (you can always add SSD's and HDD's later
600w PSU (CX600 Corsair should be cool)
Heatsink if you're gonna overclock like a hyper 212 evo
Gigabyte GA-Z77-D3H
Corsair 200r (it's your choice as long as it's ATX)
4GB Corsair Vengeance RAM - I would recommend 8gb if you have the budget or even 16 if you're doing seriously intensive stuff.
Any old DVD burner. You could use that.
Windows 7 64 bit. Wouldn't go with w8.

If it's in your budget range upgrade the processor to a 3770k (the new ones are coming out soon) so wait till they come out. It will probably be the 4770k. I would spend more on the processor than the graphics card personally. But if you get that and you still have money then you could upgrade gpu to 660 670 680 etc. or the equal AMD ones. (7850)

Hope I can help but I've never built a computer before. Only 12.

I would suggest just building a new one, you can do that without going over your budget. You could upgrade it but it might be more expensive and might not work as well.

Been searching around and saw people that have 300€ gaming PC's, I always imagined that gaming PC's costed 800€+, the problem is choosing the parts, I do not have much/any experience in building computers.
