Maybe it was a gift or his parents bought it. Maybe even his school has it, my old highschool and current college has photoshop on most of the computers. No need to accuse the OP of "not paying for it", what does that have to do with his art?

It's pointless to debate if line tool is or isn't "drawing by hand", but one thing seems clear to me: there's absolutely nothing wrong with using it. (I imagine you agree with that, because you use it all the time.)

I know there's nothing wrong with it. There is just a difference. Hand drawn is if its drawn by mouse/trackpad/tablet/your actual hand.

A bit too pixely and you didn't really add anything special you just made a standing skin picture into a drawing.

I love it, but here is some constructive criticism, Maybe get rid of the black pixel lines. and Render it.

Those still aren't as straight. Anyone cant drawn lines like that, but those pixels in the images are completely aligned. Your lines however are not completely aligned, they aren't completely straight either.

I wouldn't say that it was "showing off" because it's not that hard. But it is near "impossible" to draw lines like those in the image. Plus lines that are too straight look ugly anyways. Straight lines that look perfect look horrible in most drawings.

Technically, it's pretty easy to draw perfectly straight lines by hand - just zoom in and go pixel by pixel. Of course, there's no point in doing that - line tool exists for a reason.

There's two kinds of people. The ones who always compliment any work, sugar coat everything. It seems people are way too afraid of being accused of being haters. The other kind of person is one who doesn't sugar coat. It seems a lot of the people who comment on art rating are sugar coating it. Sorry, but this art isn't the best. It's too simple and plain. Also, line tool =/= hand drawn.

Eh, they look traced TBH.

And in the second one, the creeper logo on the guys shirt should be slanted as well, and the bottom parts of the creeper mouth are shorter.

Tracing over a 3D model isn't exactly drawing. It's tracing.

Rendering needs work, and perhaps a bit more shading? Otherwise, these are fantastic! O3O

These are good! Try to render them a bit higher though, they look kinda pixelated on the lines. But good work!!
