Drakeheart is a roleplaying server put in "medieval times" with steampunk elements and magic tossed into the mix.
We have a open and dedicated roleplaying community, active admins, our own system for PvP without powergaming, custom map with expansive fields of land, events, player built villages, Quests, and lots more!

I have a few questions about the server. Are you able to make your own town? It says maybe you want to make your own town, so I was just curious. I hopped on for a bit and I saw that there were a... I wouldnt say lack, but missing, of a few plugins. I really liked this server when it first became what it was. We could start our own town, do our own currency, and RP and everything. We shaped the world ourselves, and thats what I liked most about that server. What I am trying to get to, is if I could suggest a couple plugins and why:

Towny or Factions: This way people can actually make their own towns, and have it protected themselves without having others ruin what they create.

Worldguard: That way someone who gets w-listed who intends on harming the server, can't destroy the spawn, you can also just worldguard certain spots and make it buildable upon by others.

IConomy and/or ChestShops: This way people can set up their own shops, and have a money base to do it with. I do believe this also requires Vault, but I can't remember for sure. We could also set up a server based economy (Lets say Piston heads was the economy).

If you have ANY questions about why I chose these, or if you need help setting them up, please PM me. I love how the server looks, and I just wish to improve it based on my opinions. Thanks for reading this.

Fact of the matter is that you cannot build a town all by yourself. Banding up with a few people and maybe start a camp is fine in my oppinion. Ask the online admins/OPs, and they will solve it in-game. Our server administrator is currently working on updating the map to 1.2 that just got released, and plugins will be added after that. The plugins you suggested are already in our consideration.

If you are as interested in the server as you say, why not apply for membership?

Character background: William lived in the kingdom of Cubia with his father, mother and sister. They had a cozy house there and William and his father hunted for food which they sold at the local market. One day William was alone in the woods when he heard screaming at their home. He ran for his life towards the voice only to see bandits burning his house down while his family was inside. His family didn't survive the attack, and now William needs a new place to call home.

3. Real life age: 15 (C'mon, you should know this!)
4. Why you wish to join us: For the glory and honor of questing with fellow adventurers!
5. Will you commit to our server: 102% ( Heh. )
6. Character background: Kvarn was born and raised in the fort of Brintlok. His father was slain in battle when he was 6, and his mother died of plague when he was 8. When he turned Twelve, the Order of the Bloodied Fist recruited him into their ranks. There, he cut out a living as a barbarian warrior. He traveled across the lands, raiding and pillaging small towns and other forts. One day, when he was Eighteen, the surge of undead poured over Brintlok, slaying almost everyone. Kvarn, and his friend, Gjorn, managed to escape. Gjorn however, died a few days later of grievous wounds.

Kvarn continued wandering the lands, after he had buried his friend. He eventually came across the capital city of Drakeheart, and decided to set up camp near a crumbled watchtower.

I already applied on the other forum Grunt gave me the IP and whatnot. I am happy to of provided a couple of opinions of course! I was here when you could make your own factions and whatnot. I really enjoyed the server, so this is why I keep coming back.

4. Why you wish to join us: Games are more fun with a social aspect, and I work really well alongside others. That, and it's been a good while since I've been a part of a roleplay group.

6. Character background:
Born in the plains, Prayayn lived the nomadic way of life that the tribe of Uran Tor observes. His father taught him to wield a blade and fight; His mother taught him to feed and clothe himself. In his tribe, when a man reaches a certain age they go on a year-long journey to live away from the tribe and experience the world and its wonders. Prayayn is now set to start his own journey.
He loves to make friends with wolves, and tend to other animals. Sometimes though, he has difficulties with the wolves thinking his livestock are easy prey. With a strong back, he believes he can be a strong builder -- and he hopes that confidence can serve him well, as he needs to make himself a home to survive this year away from his tribe.
