That's actually pretty good, but is still 2 gens behind.

Well, like I said, I has a small budget. Also, my new parts can run all of the the new games on the market at max settings. So, there is no need for parts that are overkill.

It looks like a good build from 3 years ago , but seriously, what was the total price for it?

It's not the small budget part, it's that you got parts that are 2 generations old and you should have spent more on the GPU. Haswell refresh runs better and with better performance for the same price, and the Z75 chipset is rather old with not as many features.

No matter what parts you use, it won't change any features on your games or gameplay. So what do you mean by not as many "features".
Also, I've been play a lot of COD:BO2, Watch Dogs, Saints Row 4, Saints Row 3, GTA 4, Ghost Recon, COD:MW3, COD:MW2, Minecraft and much more good graphic intense games, all running on max resolution and max graphic setting. And I still get 0% lag. So really, my build was pretty good for the budget I had in mind. Also, even if I did have the money to spend on better parts, why spend $300 - $400+ on parts like NVIDIA and Intel when you can get the same exact performance but almost 1/3 - 1/2 the cost. I mean, I like Intel processors more than AMD but NVIDIA's graphic cards are too over priced for something you could buy for 1/3 - 1/2 the cost. I'll upgrade when I feel it's needed.

You built this? Why not with more up to date parts?
