hi.im new to minecraft .i joined a sever today.i could not walk around .i looked at the signs around.and they said .do /setpassword------------ then do /login----------.what do i have to do .any inscructions how to this.thanks

when you are on the server do /setpassword ( type a password you want for the server here) then once you do that type /login (use the same password you used with /setpassword) then you should be able to do stuff.

You joined a cracked server, which means people without Minecraft premium can join it. To protect from Username fraud, they add passwords that you have to create, then use everytime you go in, so you don't pretend you are an admin. To do this, follow these steps:
1. Do: /setpassword (put a good password here)
2. Do: /login (password you set)

Everytime you get on, you have to do step 2. Some will require you to do:
/setpassword (password) (confirmpassword)

Then you are done, do Step 2, and you can play!

whenever you logg in you type /login yourpassword btw if you need a server please look at ixwtc.servegame.com it has the same /register command

You have to type it in as a command. And do NOT use your Minecraft password, as somebody can decrypt the password file, and steal your Minecraft account. To do the command, follow these steps:
1. In-game, hit "T"
2. Type in: /setpassword (password)

Make the password a bit hard, so nobody can guess it if they try to log in as you
