Its not letting me join any servers. i recently port forwarded my router for my own persona serve but isnt up currently. It just stays on "connecnting to server..." and then Connection timed out

I always check help.mojang.com to make sure the sites aren't down. Otherwise reload Minecraft and try again. Or u can delete your .minecraft folder + try again

Usually the failed to connect error comes on when your internet connection isn't fast enough. I don't know if OpenGL has anything to do with this though. If the problem persists the server may be down, broken, etc. But if you are sure that it is none of these problems then try deleting your .minecraft folder and download another launcher of minecraft. Just keep in mind of your favorite server IP. Keep your favourite minecraft server IP since you will loose it. Hence it doesn't always mean the server is OFFLINE
