Due to the recent events in Ottawa, Canada I as a proud Canadian would like to say that no matter how hard people try you can never bring us down and we will not tolerate these types of aggression.

Schools all around Ottawa were put into lockdown modes. The whole downtown core was, too...
I hope that they hold the Remembrance Ceremony down town as usual. We have to show that we will still respect the soldiers, and that terror won't prevent us from doing that.
And I'll have to spot more than four snipers this year. They'll have to have more than four this year, sadly...

I live near ottawa, my school went into lockdown.
Then we took the class and made it a learning session about ottawa shooting and i setup the news on the television.

The gunman from the Ottawa shooting? He was not part of ISIS, nor other extremist groups, though he was bonkers and did seem to have extremist views.

I think with all of these crazy people and terrorists at the moment they should start taking guns off people. Not trying to start a argument, but we could avoid a lot of these situations.

True but this man had a rifle and lots of people in Canada have rifles for hunting and all so it would be a bit hard to take the guns away but anyway he walked in the front door of parliament which means something needs to be done to have security there
