Lets just List a bunch of ideas that sound good

Jungle Village/City/Town
Well No One Eveer Really Builds high up in the jungle trees? So lets make a contest about it since very few people ever build In the trees? It will be a new type of building. Only Restrictions would be
-Dont use Previously Made Projects
-Only Use the Jungle Biome Trees
Thats why i like this because its free and broad and Creativity can wonder its path

Realistic Town
We All Try and make towns. With amazing Creations. But Could any of these Creations really stand in the world? and be realisticly made? I doubt it. SO Lets Make a town. where its a few homes that look nice, Not boxes, But real Roofs, And Windows. Maybe Some driveways to. It would take very much if you wanted to get into detail. but could be a big hit sensation when designed correctly. I cant think of restrictions of this one. Except maybe
-Must look like it could stand in real life/the real world
This doesnt allow much creativity, but it shows how well you can build something when told to

UnderGround Utopia
This one would definately Be Unique. Underground utopia since the zombie apocalypse has came. Now you must make one entrancces to get in but not out. Must keep saafe with livable Areas and homes. And Food for everyone.. get to work
I like this idea cause there is one restriction
- has To Be Underground
People could be as creaetive as they want. It would be hard for them to show it but they can youtube it or give a bunch of screenshots.

lNether Base
With this idea, It would be unique cause seriously, Who Builds anything Awesome in the nether, NO ONE! Ive never seen a Minecraft City or anything in the Nether that looks cool! Lets Just see what the minecraft Community can do with the Nether and how useful it can be with the Lava and such.
Restrictions
-Must Be In Nether
I think thats pretty good restrictions with any you wanna add on.

How about bringing some good old fashioned fortress building?

Someone could make a custom map with some dramatic terrain that includes a large NPC village as the center point. The player would be prompted to build fortifications around the town and/or a citadel for it's defense. A back story could be that Steve came to the village looking to trade, but was commissioned by the townsfolk to build defenses against the zombie hordes after he boasted loudly about his epic creations in the pub.

The winning entry would show a consistent theme/style to their fortress, show attention to detail, and in general make the town look impregnable. This would allows players considerable artistic and creative license while allowing them to practice the ancient Minecraft skill of fortress building.

The rules would be the same as before (must be original work begun after the contest started, etc) plus the following guidelines:

1. Creation should surround the village on four sides, perhaps more.
2. Creation should allow NPC's to come and go but not mobs
3. Must resemble/act like a fortress/defenses.

Castles!

This would be building awesome castles.

You could build castles on a special terrain, maybe with villages inside. There could be a back story on the castle.

A castle wouldn't necessarily have to be massive, It could be a cool compact smaller castle, lots of freedom.

That's my idea.

I think we should do a contest based on the ultimate tree-fort. Like, someone builds the most EPIC tree ever and we build off that.

A Futuristic theme might be fun

I suggest we should make the most epic base.Like on a PvP server where you try to make the best possible base out of anything except Bedrock
Like the most awesome base wins?

Action Scene; give the dimensions of a cube of space which people aren't allowed to go over, and in this they have to create some sort of action scene with the space they have. Something like 30x30x30 could work well.

This could range from a train derailing on a bridge to the moment before a cat grabs a mouse running with cheese. It would be interesting to see what the community could come up with.

Inverted; I've always liked the idea of things being upside down, to see what it's like to go through the same space inverted. Maybe not as exciting as my first choice but still a suggestion.

How about a school making contest like a elemental school making contest

Hmm a contest of anything you can build. Anything you can think of. Like mashing up diffrent ideas from game levels and maps into one whole Minecraft World. but then there would be no basis for it to be judged on and no originality...This is makes it so hard to think!!!
