It seems like something you don't need to do, but still do it as a service to the show. It's like if I referred to my friends as the King's Guard because I'm a Game of Thrones fan.

Hmm, well, now might be a good time to adress something without making another thread on the matter. Now, let me put something straight before I start, I hate My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic.

My reasons are that it's acted like a cancer to the internet that I use everyday, suddenly fandom is 50% pony, things I like becoming mixed with this thing that I hate. I can't browse youtube without having to trudge through pony videos to find content that is free of it.

Honestly, I speak for a lot of people I know who dislike it. Imagine if something you didn't like suddenly became a major part of everything you liked. Seriously, nothing is sacred. Warhammer 40k? Nope, ponies. Game of Thrones? Nope, ponies.
