Ok. I love mods. Who doesn't? But some of my favorite mods are becoming outdated, seeing as newer and newer versions of minecraft are being released. Is it possible to port or change a mods source code to make it playable in a newer version of minecraft? I have zero coding experience and I would absolutely LOVE for someone to maybe be able to port one of these mods to a newer version. Send me a message or reply if you know how or could do this for me.

Yeah, I did that for some mod, I don't remember it's name, chunky bits maybe?
Anyways, I found a mod that's "similar" to it, but for 1.7.10!

Which is the version I play in!

This is a task I would love someone to do as well, but sadly, this would require a VERY experienced coder!
It's almost impossible to this in the process of 1.7 to 1.8 and vise-versa!
In order to do this you would need the creator of the mod to do this or find a VERY expirenced coder!

Hope that helps!
