Planet Minecraft

OK, here's the gig; I want to get an Alienware computer. I now they're fast, good, and work great. BUT, I don't know what to get. I want portaility, but I want power as well. Plese keep in mind th only game I'll be running on it is MineCraft. Maybe a MineCraft server, too. Here's the main specs: M17x R4: Display Panels 17.3-inch WideFHD 1920 x 1080 60Hz WLED Video Card 2GB GDDR5 NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 660M Hard Drive 1TB RAID 0 (2x 500GB SATA 3B/s 7,200 RPM) Aurora: Memory 16GB Quad Channel DDR3 at 1600MHz Video Card 3GB DDR5 AMD Radeon™ HD 7950 Hard Drive 1TB Serial ATA 3 Hard Drive I'm not really knolegable of what everything in that means, but I know the 1TB is a LOT of HDD. Please help me. I knida want to show it off, too. But I till want power. And please don't sy I should make my own desktop, I dont trust myslf with that stuff. I would wih my grandpa around, but he's not around, so there. (he worked on plane radar systems and T.V.s nd Microwaves).

Don't get an Alienware. Custom Build. Cheaper and better. Not as good as you think. I had one. was okay. then I custom built one. and it kicks my old Alienwares ass. hop it helped

Don't get them. May as well get a PC instead of a laptop.

Buy from a custom/premade PC shop online and get the same computer for half the price. Or Just get a much, much better computer from somewhere else for the same price.

Im saving Up To By a Custom Made computer coz a guy that owns the comp. shop in town makes em so far i hav $3470

Buying an Alienware computer could be one of the biggest mistakes you can make regarding computers. They're atrociously overpriced, and the hardware isn't that good anyways. They also expire (usually a hardware failure) quickly. I suggest either purchasing a computer from Asus, or making your own like lots of people are suggesting. I've got 3 friends who've made the mistake of Alienware, and to be frank, I'm glad I didn't get one myself. >,<

It's easier than people think to make a computer. I'm pretty sure there are online tutorials or people willing to help you out.

Finally, don't buy a new computer just for Minecraft. Thats like buying a PS3 just to play LittleBigPlanet. Buy a new computer if you wish to play lots of PC games.
