Hello Ladies and Gentleman. I bring you a Trapezoid's and Aaron's Collaboration to create a new rp.


The year is 2012, and all is not well in Empire City. This remote city in the middle of the ocean used to be a very calm, peaceful place. But gangs began forming, and rising up higher. They terrorize the citizens, and even the police force are a bit intimidated. You've arrived on this island, and face a decision. Will you walk among the other citizens, and pretend that the gangs don't exist? Or will you fight the ongoing gang war, either as a member or a police officer. That choice is yours, and you must make it now.

This rp will focus around three main gangs. The Russian Mafia, The Syndicate, and El Lokos. Each gang will have one leader, and many gang members. You can choose to be a police officer, or a gang member from any of the three gangs. You also have the choice of being a citizens, and maybe winding up in some gang hi-jinks or something. You may also start your own gang, if you have at least another person who will join in.

Rules:

1. No Meta-Gamming, No God-modding, No Perfect characters.
2. Death's/ wounds on another rper must be agreed on by both rpers.
3. Do not isolate yourself, get involved with the story.
4. Add Spicy Italian Meatball to the Anything Else.
5. Have fun.
6. Being an internet tough guy isn't allowed in the thread. Take it somewhere else.

Backstory: Tony was born May 9th 1983 in the city of New York.He lived there until he was about 12 that's when his parents moved to Empire bay.Thing were tough.His father couldn't get a job, and he wasn't to popular with the neighborhood kids.They would beat him up, and take his lunch money.Tony wasn't much of a fighter so he never really defended himself.But things started change when his father came into some money.His life got a whole lot better, and most kids stopped messing with him.But one summer evening the unthinkable happened.His parents died.They were mugged by some local thugs then shot dead.Being that Tony was under the age of 18 he was shipped off to an orphanage were he would receive his inheritance when he turned 18.Things started to get bad again.Tony wasn't treated in the orphanage.The other kids targeted him just because he had something look forward to when he turned 18.The staff members of the orphanage weren't any better either.They would turn their heads to the other kids, and let them abuse tony as much as they wanted to.Tony didnt know what to do, so he just bared through it until he turned 18.The day of his 18th he was released from the care of the orphanage, and lived in his parents old apartment in downtown Empire city.things were good once again.Tony had he could ever want, and more.But as he got older he started to owe a little money to some people.Bad people.Tony didnt have enough money to pay the scumbags back, so they raided his apartment, and took anything value.When Tony turned 21 he took the little money that he had left, and invested into a building.He didnt know what he was going to do with at first, but then someone told him that Empire city had club scene going on so he opened it into a small club.It wasn't much but money flowing again.Tony soon made way to the top,Knocking several other clubs off of the chart, and taking them for his own profit.Tony was now the most infamous club owner in all off Empire city.You had to be somebody you get into his club.But to be at the top you had to make some enemies.And tony tony made the enemies with the wrong people, and they started to fuck with his clubs, and take away his business.This is when Tony found the syndicate.He needed people to protect his clubs.At first it was all about protection.But soon it came more then that.The syndicate started to get involved in drug trafficking, and the purchasing of stolen cars.The syndicate was evolving into a gang.But tony didnt see it like that.He saw the Syndicate as a organization or a 'company' if will say.Tony was now living the life men wanted be him, and women wanted to be with him.Then shit started to crumble when the police raided one of Tony's clubs, and found large amount of drugs through out the whole establishment.He tried to play it off as he didnt know what they were talking about.But the police weren't stupid they charged him, and took him into custody.When his court date arrived the judge wanted to give him life.But a couple friends of tony on the outside took care of that by bribing the judge with large amounts of money.Tony couldn't be found innocent.There was no way in hell that was going to happen.But someone did mess up in the books, and put him down for 5 years instead of life.Tony didnt like the fact that he was going to jail.But bared through it being that it was only 5 years, and not life......5 years after Tony's conviction he was finally getting out.Everything had stood strong with in the syndicate thanks to his lead 'CEO' keeping things in place while he was gone.Tony was back, and shit was about to go down.

Personality: Sarcastic, funny, serious when it comes down to it. Very aggressive, hates to lose.
Backstory: Katya grew up in the countryside of Russia. She never saw the big cities, and could be considered a farm girl. Her families were rural farmers, who were feeling the extreme poverty at that time. Her parents had been saving money and putting it aside for her education, and also enough to get to a place they heard about. Empire City, is what it was called. They were promised riches, the finest luxuries, a true person's dream. At 8 years old Katya moved from the Motherland to Empire City, with her mother and father of course, all of them looking for a bettter life. What they found was poverty almost as bad as it was back in Russia. But this time, they faced extreme prejudice from the native born people of Empire City. They felt threatened by the large numbers of Russians coming into the city every day. Violence was seen daily, and Katya was even a victim of a beating. Kids from her school, powered by their bigot parents and the school system that did not care for foreign students, beat Katya on the playground when she was 11 years old. Her parents didn't press charges, knowing that they would be rejected, and more hate would follow them. One day, her father came home from work with several bruises and a bloody nose. On that day, her father snapped and formed The Russian Mafia. It started as group of Russian men who stood together to face the prejudice and the violence. It spiraled out of control, and turned into a real Mafia like gang. They began killing citizens of Empire City at random, trying to strike fear into their hearts. They captured, tortured, murdered, and even sold human beings in the underground slave trade. They became one of the most aggressive, and ruthless gangs in the city. Katya grew up around all of this, and she actually enjoyed it. At age 16, she knew how to aim, fire, and clean a fully automatic assault rifle. Her father even taught her the vital points of the human body, and how many times to kill a person in each place. She became the leader of The Russian Mafia on her 27th birthday, which was also the day her father died. Her father called her minutes before he passed, and told her that she was the new leader of The Russian Mafia. She is now 28 years old, and the gang is at an all time under her command.

Backstory: After constant hate and prejudice for the Russian people coming into the city, many Russians banded together and formed the gang mainly for protection in numbers. Having grown to be one of the largest and most dangerous gangs in the city, they worry less about protection and are very aggressive. Usually never on the defense, always trying to gain the upper-hand.

Backstory:Maggie loves her job as news reporter. Although, she hates getting in people's faces. The way real news reporters act in front of people's faces. She takes alleyways to work, hoping to find juicy news about the gangs in town. She had a job way before her dreams. She worked for one of the gangs, Syndiacte secretly, though she wasn't an actual member, just a no-good person for one of their works. She soon was assigned a job that was sure to get her caught by the police. She ignored, and started a new life, keeping her name and trying to get away from the gang. She lives in an apartment building three blocks away from her work. She takes buses when she's not in the mood for walking.

Backstory: Mstislav was the son of a Russian official. He hardly ever got to see his father, and was constantly left at home, alone, for his mother was killed in a car accident. The times Mstislav did get to see his father, were only a few hours. One day, his father was murdered, by someone who obviously didn't like his political opinons. Mstislav was left at his home, unaware that his father was murdered. When people came with notes of sorrow, Mstislav had no idea what they were talking about. They told him what happened, and he was devastated, when they offered to take him to the orphanage, he refused, he said he would walk there, obviously lying. He tracked down the murderer to Empire City, and killed him with his pistol. Upon walking the streets of Empire City, he was met with hostility, because he was Russian. He retreated to the alleyways, and heard of a Russian Mafia, he tracked them down, and requested to join.

Nickname: 'The Blade'

Age: 29

Personality: Likes to refer to himself in the third person, likes to talk to his sword, and likes to cut things. Normally talks in a mix of French and English, a bad habit of his. Can be rather cruel when he is annoyed, but is normally pretty lighthearted.

Backstory: Leonardo's parents were French, but moved to Empire City, hoping to find better times for Leo and his older brother, Alastor. Leonardo and Alastor handled the change fine, although learning English was a problem for Alastor. Leonardo was taught both French and English growing up, but was often made fun of at school for speaking with a mix of both languages. Leonardo had a great life at school, until Junior High. It turns out, Alastor had gotten involved with the Russian Mafia, and he pressured Leo to join along with him. Naturally, having a sense of right and wrong, Leo tried to refuse. But, when your drug addict brother wants you to do something, it's best to not refuse. Alastor actually tried to kill Leo with a knife. Leo managed to get away with his life, but just barely. His brother left, and a few weeks later, was shot by the police after a failed kidnapping attempt. After a couple of years, Leo almost forgot he even had a brother, so lived out his life happily. He got a B average in school, took some fencing lessons, dabbled in a few other languages, graduated from college, got his degree, overall, a nice life. He got a good job as a secretary at a good company. Or so he thought. It turned out, the company he had worked for was laundering money, and because he was in a higher up position, and the CEO, and almost everyone affiliated with the company had mysteriously fled the country, Leonardo, and some of his co-workers were given all the blame. Leo fled, and hid out from the police for awhile. He changed his name (Not officially of course), and wiped away every trace that he could that he was ever alive. He came back into society as a 'Jack Anderson', and got a job working at the bank instead. He had developed an addiction to alcohol while hiding away, and never bothered trying to stop. He drank so much that drinking began to lose it's major effects on him. But that didn't stop him from from wanting to join the Russian Mafia. (That good 'nuff? Does one simply join the Russian Mafia?)
