If you uploaded a mod that you didn't create. Please delete it and instead invite the original creator to share their work here. They'll be able to describe and support their mod on a level we simply can't. Surely they deserve the credit and choice to share their own work here.

Thanks.

It is not ok to upload a copied skin and just give credit. If you find a skin and modify it, you may upload it with credit to the original author of the skin (see my skin that was submitted for example) but if the skin was already made, ask the skin author to join planetminecraft and post their work here.

Isn't the point of planetminecraft to show off YOUR WORK, not the work of others, and give credit?
The 'credit' box is supposed to also be for other people that worked alongside you. Not for the real creator.
It angers me that almost all the mods on here are taken, and some not even credited. I think if we do know who the real creator was, and the uploader is not them, cyprezz should delete it.

I agree with this, totally. I love how some members have like 4k views by posting something they had nothing to do with creating.

http://www.planetminecraft.com/mod/sdks-mods/#comments This dude posted sdk, and refuses to delete it unless the mod maker himself tells him to remove it, and he didn't make it. I think it should be removed from here because he didnt get permissions either. I even commented for him to delete it, and he wont, for the reason mentioned.

Tbh I think that you should get what deviant art has, It has a license "thingy" that copyrights everything uploaded only downside that may be costly :/ But i'm sure many people would donate if that was the case, because My mods have been stolen before :)
And i say it's a worthwhile investment.

Just saying, a guy posted a mod spotlight in the mods section? Should this be in the blogs section? I think so
